

After working independently in bands ranging from indie rock to blues, Americana and jazz,
Tom Walters and Nicole Cassingham formed The Taproots with a focus on original material.
Songwriting and vocal harmonies took center stage as they found themselves
becoming regular performers at concerts, wineries and other venues.
The duo cut their first album, the critically acclaimed Tales Of Wonderland in 2022
with producers Michael C Mason and Jay Ferguson (formally of Spirit and Jo Jo Gunne)
and sound engineer and mixer Ross Pallone. They were joined by numerous LA studio
musicians,known for their work with Leon Russell, Michael McDonald, Pat Benetar,
Maria Muldair and Kelly Clarkson. These artists are all listed in the credits section.
While steadily writing and performing since then, The Taproots developed their latest
album Comedy Of Fools with the help of Michael C Mason, Steve Ahlgrim and Ross Pallone,
Again several L.A musicians contributed to project, along with members their regularly
performing band from Central California.​​ Again, celebrated artist Mark Bryan provided the artwork.
